Quick Start Guide

Get FOMO Generator running in 5 minutes! Follow these simple steps to start boosting conversions.

Step 1: Activate App Extension (2 minutes)

1. Open FOMO Generator from your Shopify admin.
2. Look for the blue banner: "Activate App Extension".
3. Click "Enable in Theme Editor".
4. You'll be taken to the Theme Customizer.
5. Click Theme Settings (gear icon at bottom left).
6. Scroll to the App Embeds section.
7. Find "FOMO Generator" and toggle it ON (green).
8. Click Save in the top-right corner.

✅ Done! The app is now active.

Step 2: Choose ONE Feature (1 minute)

Step 3: Quick Setup Examples

Exit Intent (Fastest - 2 min)

1. Go to Exit Intent in the app.
2. Toggle Enable to ON.
3. Fill in details:
   • Headline: "Wait! Get 15% OFF"
   • Message: "Use code SAVE15 at checkout"
   • Discount Code: SAVE15
   • Button Text: "Claim Discount"
4. Click Save.

✅ Done! Test by moving your mouse to close the browser tab (on desktop).

Stock Alerts (3 min)

1. Go to Stock Alerts.
2. Click Create Alert.
3. Fill in:
   • Name: Low Stock Warning
   • Threshold: 5 units
   • Message: Only {stock} left in stock!
   • Apply To: All Products
4. Click Save.

✅ Done! Visit any product with less than 5 items in stock.

Step 4: Test Your Feature

• Open your store in incognito/private mode (bypasses cache)
• Verify feature appears correctly
• Check positioning and colors
• Test on mobile device
