FOMO Generator ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. We are committed to protecting the personal information of our users (merchants) and their customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Shopify Application.
2. Information We Collect
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
- Shop Information: Shop URL, shop email, shop name, and plan settings.
- Order Information: We access recent order data to generate "Recent Purchase" notifications. This includes product names, customer city/country (we do not store personal customer names publicly).
- Product Information: Product titles, images, and inventory levels to generate "Stock Alerts" and "Low Stock" counters.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality (e.g., displaying popups).
- To improve our services and develop new features.
- To provide customer support.
- To communicate with you regarding updates or changes to the App.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may use third-party services (like hosting providers) who assist us in operating the App, provided they agree to keep this information confidential.

5. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide you with our services. If you uninstall the App, we will delete your shop's configuration data within 48 hours, unless legally required to retain it.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your data. Merchants can access their data directly through the Shopify Admin.
